Stephen Critchlow, or
Critch, as he's known to the Chislehurst Constabulary,
has done a surprising amount of work, considering that his favourite
occupation
is lying on the sofa watching old Doctor Who videos while enjoying
a glass.
Stephen left Mountview Drama
School in 1990, having sheltered there during a particularly
heavy downpour.
His theatre work has included Hamlet (directed by Sir Peter
Hall) and Pygmalion (directed by Ray Cooney),
as well as many spells in Repertory Theatre and Magistrates'
Courts throughout the land.

On Television, Critch has
been seen in numerous productions, including Heartbeat,
Peak Practice,
Dalziel & Pascoe, The Bill, 2.4 Children,
The Armando Iannucci Show, Monarch of the Glen
and three series of Lynda La Plante's Trial and Retribution.
Critch's first love is money,
but Radio comes a close second.
Our man has appeared in over 200 BBC Radio Drama productions,
playing everything from Siamese fishermen to Macushi Indians.
Listeners to Radio 4's The Archers are presently
being treated to his portrayal of
an unsavoury, grasping character called Chalky!
Critch was absent from the A1 VOX team for a spell, as he
toured the UK, starring
as Kenneth Horne in the hit show Round the Horne Revisited.
Critch lists this as
his favourite theatre job, mainly because he didn't have
to learn the lines!
One other thing
. Should
you ever find yourself tackling the Tomorrow Never Dies
computer game,
check out the voice of James Bond. The name's Critchlow,
Stephen Critchlow!
